01:55 hours. Station 6 & 8 dispatched for the vehicle and structure fire. On arrival, a pick up was well involved with fire extending into the residence and heat damage to the neighboring structure.
A quick fire attack held the bulk of the fire to the exterior of both structures.
First Hose Co. personnel participated in the Prom Promise event at the Boonsboro High School. Students watched a mock extrication of their fellow students.
Fire / Rescue personnel demonstrated patient removal from a vehicle donated by a company member.... (Full Story & Photos)
On April 25th. ECC dispatched company 6 and surrounding mutual aid companies to Keadle Road for a reported large outside fire endangering structures. Engine 61 arrived on scene with a 1/4 acre woods fire with 4 vehicles fully involved and 2 structures involved as well, crews made quick work of the structures and arriving manpower from E1-1 (Sharpsburg) help extinguish the vehicle and woods fire.... On Wednesday April 24th around 9:40 a.m., Stations 8 and 6 were alerted for the vehicle crash on Rohrersville Road at Brownsville Road. Station 8 units arrived and confirmed a two vehicle crash with one vehicle on its side. M69 (Boonsboro) , A196 (Brunswick), and EMS1812 evaluated two patients with minor injuries. Wildland 8 dispatched to assist on the mountain fire. On arrival, crew was assigned fire line and suppression. Firefighters encountered steep rough terrain and access issues, but contained the blaze.... (Full Story & Photos)
