All you need is love: Paul McCartney and daughter Beatrice stroll hand-in-hand through New York City
Paul McCartney may have sang about love, love, love, but the former Beatle literally walked past it in New York City on Thursday.
The Liverpudlian rocker was spotted on the east coast of America where he was spending time with his youngest daughter, Beatrice, in Manhattan.
Unbeknown to them, the two were caught in a perfect photographic moment for fans of the musician's back catalogue.

Paul was wearing a black padded jacket with some casual tracksuit bottoms, trainers and sunglasses as he navigated downtown Manhattan.
Meanwhile, Beatrice followed suit with a metallic blue version of the same jacket with purple fleece trousers and Ugg boots.
The father-and-daughter pair looked close as they walked hand-in-hand past an installation of Robert Indiana's famous art statue 'Love'.

Although he may have appeared oblivious to the connection at the time, many fans will appreciate the indirect reference to famous Beatles song All You Need Is Love.
The track, released in 1967, was one of the band's biggest hits and became their fourteenth US Number One.
Amazingly, the song also featured a host of friends who performed hand claps and background vocals for the track, including Mick Jagger, Keith Richards and Graham Nash.

Ever since his success in America, Paul has devoted a considerable amount of time to life in the USA - and not always for business.
Earlier this week The Beatles singer was attending the Philadelphia 76ers versus Brooklyn Nets basketball game in Brooklyn when he became rather overexcited at the opportunity to catch a souvenir T-shirt during the halftime break.
Paul, 71, enthusiastically waved his arms around as the garment was fired from a cannon and shouted 'it's mine’ as it appeared to be heading in his direction but was left disappointed when another fan grabbed it.

However, he has also enjoyed commercial success in recent months with his album New - an album which saw him top the charts and perform a surprise gig in Times Square.
The Twitter-announced concert saw modern New York experience the crazy days of Beatlemania.
Crowds bayed for a sight of the suited former Beatle - and when he appeared the screaming was pitched to the heights of the Swinging Sixties.
