Records provide new details in alleged domestic violence homicide

TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) - Court records show the victim of an alleged domestic violence homicide yelled for help before, police said. She was bludgeoned to death by her boyfriend early Monday morning at her home near Tucson Boulevard and Prince Road.

A statement by a detective said the suspect, now identified as Christopher Raboin, showed up to the victim's home on a bicycle to spend the night.

In the early morning hours, according to the documents, the woman's roommate heard the victim yell "Chris don't. I love you. Don't do this."

The woman also called out her roommate's name for help, according to the statement, so the roommate called police and Raboin allegedly drove away in the victim's vehicle.

Records show officers found the woman dead, laying on the floor naked with apparent head trauma.

Her face was swollen, according the documents. She was bruised and bleeding.

Tucson police said they caught up with Raboin after a pursuit and conducted a high-risk traffic stop.

Police have confirmed Raboin was arrested Monday.

According to the court records, investigators conducted a search warrant on Raboin and found blood on his hands and several scratch marks on his chest.
