Jared Lorenzen has a proposition for the New York Jets

The New York Jets lost starting quarterback Geno Smith for six to 10 weeks after he suffered a broken jaw when his teammate IK Enemkpali sucker-punched him, reportedly in a disagreement over a $600 plane ticket.

Enter former NFL QB Jared Lorenzen's idea:

He even has his own clothing line. All he'd have to do is change the shirts from royal blue to green ...

Lorenzen, who most recently was listed at 6-foot-4, 320 pounds, was the starting quarterback for the Kentucky Wildcats from 2000 to 2003. He was the backup to New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning from 2004 to 2007, then signed with the Indianapolis Colts in 2008 before being waived at final roster cuts. He has played for a number of indoor football leagues since, and was the subject of an in-depth profile in ESPN the Magazine last year.

Your move, Jets.
