Accessing resume templates in word 2010

To access resume templates in MS Word 2010, open MS Word from the Start menu or All Programs menu. Click File then New and scroll down to select Resumes, then choose the desired template type. This will open a new document with the selected template. Click on any bracketed fields to type in your own text to customize the resume. Contact the library staff if you need help using the templates.

- 2. Open MS Word Click on the Start menu button(Bottom Left). Find Microsoft Office Word in menu. You should find it: OR Listed in the By looking in initial menu “All Programs”
- 3. Click on “File” (Upper Left Corner) Select “New”
- 4. Scroll down to “Resumes…” Select type of resume wanted.
- 5. Browse template examples Select the template you want. Click Download
- 6. Should open as new document
- 7. Click to select [bracketed] field Type to replace with own text
