Hyderabad Dum Biryani

Nearby Indian food place. We got Hyderabad Chicken, Hyderabad Mutton dum, Butter Chicken, Shrimp Tikka Masala and Rice. They were all pretty good. Nothing too spicy.

Favorite was the Shrimp tikka masala. But the two biryanis were just alright. It didn't taste fresh. Also sauces were just bland and ok. Lacks flavor.

Service was nice and inside was small but tidy

This is a nice local biryani spot in Milpitas. Malai kofta, chicken curry, paneer 65 were all very tasty.
Paneer biryani was spicy but so good that I couldn't stop eating even though my tongue was burning lol.

The wraps were ok, it was basically biryani rice with few pieces of cabbage and onion stuffed in maida roti, without sauces so felt like it was missing something.

The dum briyani was okay. We did ask for it to be extra spicy and we got more of the masala instead. I was hoping to get the proper layering for briyani with the fried onions etc.

The service was quick. And there are a few seat indoors if you want to dine in. It's a small restaurant.

There mango lassi is really good though!

We ordered the Chicken 65 Family Pack, Mutton Family Pack, Paneer Family Pack, Gobi 65, Chicken Lollipop, and the Pan Fried Momos.

My favorite dish we got was probably the Mutton Family Pack. I thought the biryani was really good and the mutton itself was super tender and mixed well with the rice. I was disappointed with the Chicken 65 as I felt that the chicken was a little dry overall. I also thought the pan fried moms were average compared to other momos I've had.

Out of the appetizers, the Gobi 65 (cauliflower) was the best one!

Everything we got had a kick but wasn't too spicy!

We got everything takeout style, but the service when we got in was good, and they were very nice!

I decided to give them 1 star due to the fact that they had bugs. Their food was good. I'll give them that, but it's the fact that they seem to lack taking better care of the restaurant. I didn't finish my meal, nor did my partner. We paid for our food before eating, so once we saw that, we left.

We wanted something out of our usual dine out places and this was the place we chose! Thank goodness too because the food was out of this world. We ordered butter chicken, shrimp tikka masala, garlic naan, the masala rice, and mango lassi. Everything came fresh out of the kitchen. Both curries were creamy and full of flavor - I do have to emphasize how great the shrimp tikka masala was. I was genuinely shocked because I never knew how good shrimp would pair with curry! It paired great with the garlic naan. We can't forget the mango lassi! It was also creamy and had a strong mango flavor. Truly refreshing! Service was top tier as well and our waiter dropped by multiple times to check up on us. We'll definitely be back for our next fix.

I have been doing biryani on a monthly basis as more and more of these places are popping up in milpitas. This one is actually been around for quite a bit. had always thought, why biryani, its just indian fry rice... l make fry rice with leftover rice all the time.. why buy it. however, I have started to like basmani rice and come to see that biryani is alot more complex.

I started to like indian cuisine as i found out that my favorite singaporean or thai chili crab is actually just crab stir fry with indian curry. well, that's what they told me in thailand... and, it does taste like it... that really changed my views on indian food

Always had only go to indian buffet, like swaget and thought indian food is always so heavy. of course we do pig out and try everything at the buffet

got togo order of mutton biryani 13.99 and chicken masala with garlic naan 16.48. total was 33.31 ... prices are relatively decent these days. they are fast! order was ready in less than 10mins!

My friends and I got takeout for dinner from here and originally I wasn't going to eat but I ended up giving in because I couldn't resist the smell! The wait for the food felt like a good while but they threw in an extra mango lassi for the wait :)

I tried everything paneer and I enjoyed it all. We got two family packs. The rice was fragrant. The naan was good. The mango lassi was yummy. I wished got my own! And the butter chicken was good.

Only four stars because though the food was good, there wasn't something special that is making want to go back.

Great biryanis !!!! Egg biryani in particular and the Gobhi Manchurian combo ! Paneer biryani also!
