Bad Boy Le Parfum Carolina Herrera for men

Really good earthy scent. I’ve only worn it a few times but every time I have I have gotten at least 1 compliment. The only thing that is terrible about this fragrance is the longevity, very disappointing. I usually get around 3-4 hours with this, having good projection for the first 2 and 1/2 hours. It’s does project fairly well though.

I’d recommend it don’t get your hopes up on the longevity, 7/10

I might sound bias because I love everything about CH but i love this one as well. The dry down is nice is just the opening that might be a lil too harsh for some but it does me good. No complaints here.

i think it's a very good and unique fragrance. i do need to say that it is a very bold fragrance so either you love it or hate it. on my skin lasts for about 8-9 hours but sillage can be better. you can smell top notes of weed and grapefruit but they last maximum for about an hour, then comes solid smell of pepper and leather and vetiver are main notes for the rest of the time. i think it's good for all seasons but it's not a daily fragrance, mainly for night, for clubs, dates etc, and mainly for younger lads. ideal for signature fragrance, ofc if you like it. i really like it and it's my favorite but i'm saying YOU EITHER LOVE IT OR HATE IT, so if you don't like it don't say that it is shit, it is personal preference.

If you smoke weed buy the big bottle and carry this everywhere if anyone ask blame it on the bad boy lol but seriously this is a very unique fragrance the weed smells like a combination of orange haze on your fingers. I like it though it's not for everyone it's like art with weed.

I received a sample of this. And while I respect the House for trying something different, it’s not for me. It smells like a cat got into a laundry basket and pissed on the dirty clothes inside of it, and then a gorilla came by and pissed on them. Then, to mask the scent, someone sprayed an aromatic fragrance on top of it.

I'll start with the bad. For what it is it doesn't project for long. For the first hour with about 4 sprays it does smell strong and projects a few feet. By hour 2 that sillage goes away From something like this I expected much more than that. This bold fragrance deserves more than that . Yes it will stick to the skin for about 4 hours but that's if you're all up on it.
Now the actual smell..The bites on here are pretty accurate..The vetiver with the mid.notes and grapefruit do give it that light cannabis note. It's bold it's smooth it's warm it's unique, I just really wish it had that oomph with the sillage and how long it lasts .
Like I said the notes are pretty spot on. Just think of all that in a bold way. The grapefruit is all skin. The pepper is light. The vetiver mellows out the leather . It's not a leather punch once the base kicks in. It just helps carry the warmness with the velvet. Definitely a good summer and fall evening fragrance

Got to travel size decant of this and pretty surprised that it smells very very similar to karagoz... Cause karagoz is grape and I don't see grape listed here ... Maybe the cannabis accord they tried to mimic is "grape ape" or a similar strain....🤔

Anyways. I have karagoz and when I sprayed this I thought they might have sent a 15 mL decant of that on accident.. to be fair to karagoz it isnt one of my favorites nishane so I rarely ever wear it. . Tho they smell very similar,I'd imagine the nishane is of higher quality

Does anybody gets a yogurth-esque quality in this perfume? Same thing happens to me with Phantom EDP and it's really weird. After spraying it three times on my arm and after the skunky-weedy opening fades away, I get this sour, lactic smell with BB and Phantom EDP too. Even if they notes are not the same: Phantom has tons of a dirty lavender and vanilla.
Then I took a shower a few hours later and the result of washing away the most water-soluble part of the formula I get TONS of Ambroxan and a faint floral citrusy base on my skin.

Synthetic plastic lemon scented. other versions of Badboy are better

I love this stuff, I've had a full bottle for like a month now and its amazing. My sister and my mom have both said its about their 3rd favorite out of my collection(pretty big) and I've gotten a lot more compliments with this that have with other fragrances. On my skin it smells like a very masculine leathery-citrus spicy scent. After I bought this I went here to look at the notes and was surprised to see cannabis on here because I cant smell any cannabis at all?? I smell everything other note but there is just no cannabis at all. Anyways, seems great for winter, spring, autumn and maybe summer, would 100% recommend buying this if you find it at a good price.

I honestly overlooked this one for the bottle design and finally tried it today, bought it immediately. This fragrance is very good for a designer. All of the other bad boy frags are weak compared to this one. A must buy for people who like rank and unforgiving scent profiles.

Just bought it, I must admit it is not for everyone as you can smell the earthy weed in there, however for the ones that like that smell it is great, a green smell, I can see it in parties or night adventures, not a safe blind buy tho.

I was skeptical because I haven’t enjoyed the other Bad Boys I’ve smelled. But I saw it at Ulta Beauty, looked it up on Fragrantica, and saw the Cannabis. My fiancé is a weed fiend, and I happen to enjoy the scent of BUD. Not when it’s burning or is already burnt. But the smell of what in th bag is very pleasant for me. So I sprayed the tester directly on my arm. GORGEOUS! I could immediately smell the fresh bud that I so enjoy. It doesn’t smell skank or slinky, it’s subtle. It’s one of those “if you know, you know” kinds of things. If I hadn’t known it had cannabis I’m not entirely sure I would’ve noticed anything unusual and it would've been a fairly
generic fresh frag. Still nice, but nothing really special. It's for this reason that I believe a HUGE part of this frag's success is the novelty of the cannabis. Nastiest opening ever. Genuinely smells like some potent skunky bud, has a very unenjoyable funk smell to it. Luckily it calms down alot when it dries down, but still just a pretty boring, earthy scent. I bought a sample because I was very curious, definitely regret it. Shit sucks

Only tried this on a tester strip but I didn’t like it at all. I am not a fan of the smell of cannabis which is heavily present on the opening of this, it smells like a sweaty armpit, even two girl friends who were with me at the shop had exactly the same opinion. Some reviews say it changes a lot on the dry down and it becomes much better, but I honestly found the opening so disgusting that I wasn’t even interested in waiting to see what the dry down smells like or to even try it on my skin. I don’t usually find many fragrances that I dislike but this one is definitely not for me, and I think it’s not for everyone, so I strongly advise against blind buying this one.

This smells very much like Hero edp minus the cedar notes. Hard pass.

I found a sample of this when I moved to my apartment, I tried it and I didn't even know it had cannabis on it but I was able to capture immediately the spicy notes, which I love, I might buy a medium size bottle, got complimented already, good performance. I also love the bottle I was planning on getting one for the bottle actually.

My third Bad Boy, after the Extreme and Cobalt. This one has to grow on you, as testing this in stores was underwhelming. I caught this at a good price, and after seeing folks swear up and down this was the best in the line, I got it. The grapefruit and cannabis opening is sharp, but it's not off-putting in the air how it was on paper. The cannabis note here is the EXACT same as what's in Nasamotto's Black Afgano, the difference between the two fragrances is the Black Afgano is very dry and woody and Le Parfum is almost the complete opposite of that. Here, the cannabis is surrounded by sweet and powdery geranium, backed up with the spiciness via the pepper. One of the top reviews here says that it smells like "sweet weed candy", and I get that vibe myself; very enjoyable. I don't detect the leather much here, but the vetiver is present and adds some structure to the overall composition. Similar to the review below, my main gripes are that while it's very strong initially and lingers for a while after spraying, the longevity isn't the best. Kinda disappointing, but it's not a deal breaker. The Extreme is still my favorite, but all three of the Bad Boys are good and unique in their own ways. Carolina Herrera has done a great job with the Bad Boy line, as no other fragrance line can say I own three of their offerings. Le Parfum is the most "Bad Boy"-ish of the line, and the name suits it perfectly. 8/10

Very interesting fragrance. You’re met with a strong grapefruit and earthy opening. I guess you can recognize a little bit of cannabis but it does not give off that skunk-like smell. After a few hours, you’re left with a more floral rose-like scent and then ultimately a very intimate leather smell. Very masculine and bold fragrance and I would recommend you try this on your skin first. A good pick if you’re trying to be unique.

In a fragrance line dominated by heavy, sweet scents, Bad Boy Le Parfum stands out as an aromatic green offering in the line. Honestly, I heard someone say this smells like marijuana and I was curious enough to blind buy it. How did it go? Read on to find out;

Scent:
Opening is citrusy, green, and woody. The primary notes I get are cannabis, grapefruit, and vetiver. The strongest of the notes are the cannabis and grapefruit giving it a green and fruity scent, followed by the vetiver providing a woody and earthy background. The cannabis note in this fragrance is very stereotypical and will instantly be recognized by people familiar with the smell of a freshly rolled joint or the lingering aroma of a smoke session. Those not familiar will take it as a strong and unique green note. The dry down is green, woody, and leathery. The primary notes I get are cannabis, vetiver, leather, and geranium. The strongest of these notes are the cannabis and vetiver giving it a green and woody profile, followed by a masculine and animalic leather tone. The geranium is also there in the background, providing a sweet and rosy nuance.

Performance:
Initial projection is strong at around 6 feet. Sillage is strong as well with an easily noticeable scent trail. At around 3 hours the projection was under arms length and the scent trail was moderately noticeable. After about 4-5 hours the projection and sillage were gone and it was left as a skin scent. Not the best in terms of performance, especially from a fragrance with "Le Parfum" in the name.

When to wear:
I would consider this a spring/summer daytime fragrance. I'm not really sure why it has all the votes for fall/winter, other than the fact that it has leather in it. But overall its a very aromatic and woody scent with a strong citrus opening perfect for warmer weather. I wouldn't recommend this for office wear for obvious reasons. I wouldn't recommend it for a date for the same reasons, unless you and your date are both into cannabis, in which case it would be an interesting conversation starter.

Blind buy:
If you want a fragrance with a realistic cannabis note this is a safe blind buy for you. If you don't enjoy the smell of cannabis then I'm curious as to why you're interested in this fragrance in the first place.

Final verdict:
If you want something that smells like weed, this is one of your best bets. Outside of that, the scent itself is nice. Surprisingly niche smelling for a designer fragrance. The performance leaves something to be desired, but it could be worse. Overall I'm happy to have it in my collection for the novelty, and because it's a decent scent. I wouldn't recommend it to most people though.

You know that dark earthy musky man smell when he’s smoked so much you can almost smell the weed through his sweat but it’s also sweet and a little fresh? And i mean musky musky. Post gym, hasn’t showered yet but you can still smell the citrus shampoo in his hair from earlier. That’s how this smells. It’s not for everyone but this was formulated for a very specific kind of man and it speaks to me *perfectly* definitely my signature scent

everyone said not to blind buy this but i did, i love it so much. its not a skunky cannabis smell as you know weed smells like, its more of a fresh grown, clean but slightly funky smell. combined with the sweetness of the grapefruit this can be worn i would say all year round! definitely gonna order a 5oz of this stuff when my 3oz is finished. love at first smell for me:) definitely my new signature scent:D
UPDATE: got my first compliment within 2 days of wearing it. a lady chased me down the walmart parking lot to compliment me:)) in terms of sillage and longevity, my mom smelled it coming out my room from the hallway, and that lady from walmart smelled it about 20 feet away from behind me. i get REALLY noseblind to this so i thought it wasnt performing well but i guess it was, HOWEVER, the longevity is pretty average, a bit disappointing for an EDP concentration. the projection is MASSIVE and leaves a long trail for the first 2 1/2 hours but after that it sits really close to the skin for me, goes away completely after 5-6 hours.

To start, this is my favourite out of the bad boy line. It’s a deep masculine and sexy scent which garners many compliments, not a mass appeal fragrance but it’s amazing if on the right person. People saying this just smells of weed must have a very poor sense of smell, it’s not the stoner’s type of weed smell but an earthy, slightly spicy and woody type note in the perfume, more of a forest type note. The beautiful citrusy grapefruit paired with the smoothness from the vetiver as the base, topped with leather, make this a very sexy masculine scent which most women really enjoy. I’ve been told I smell amazing many times when wearing this, this stuff has nuclear longevity and amazing projection. I smelt this for a solid month after spraying it on one of my hoodies.

If the note of cannabis was unknown to a person when smelling this they wouldn’t have a clue it was in the fragrance. Not really an office friendly fragrance but great for date nights or going out with friends. The only negative I could give for this is the slightly “sweat” type smell in the opening, however, this disappears after a few minutes after spraying. Overall, a very good fragrance. Is it a blind buy? I wouldn’t say so. I’d recommend you sample it first before buying. Bad Boy Le Parfum is best in winter, autumn or spring in my opinion. Easy 9/10 for me and one of my favourites. May need to buy a few more soon just to stock up.

I bought this one for my husband a year ago.
This is truly a unique scent.
We don't smell the cannabis per say.On his skin it's an interesting combination of sweet, slightly spicy and intimate.
It's the only scent for men I can genuinely say is sexy, but I don't think it's for everyone especially since it has a lot of personality and the presence can be overwhelming. It really draws you in.
Don't shy away from trying it on, see how you like it.
Take the bad reviews with a grain of salt, because even though you might not like it either, it could prove to be what you were looking for.
It's also ok to hate it, scent is something very personal.

Just picked this one up and I really enjoy it. I admit it's probably not going to be for everyone due to the heavy use of cannabis in the opening but, if given a chance, it can be a very pleasant scent. It has all the staying power one could want and people will absolutely be able to smell you. It leans more masculine, imo, but females could pull it off if they so choose. The price to value ratio is rather subjective so that's something everyone has to decide for themselves but I feel that a 5oz bottle for $70 is an extremely good deal. It's not a blind buy appropriate fragrance by any means so definitely try before you buy.

All the latest reviews have finally come around to the fact that this is probably CH's greatest perfume. If you like the beginning notes and don't like how fast they fade, here's a little secret. Both Perfume Parlour and DUA make extrait clones that are much longer lasting in the top notes and are spot on. This is one wild fragrance. It is certainly one of the most addictive ones I have ever smelt. Right up there with Bvlgari's Black. This IS a blind buy. You won't regret it. It should be discontinued any moment; it's that good.

This is one of the few fragrances I own that I would actually describe as sexy. The persistent and dense cannabis and leather combo is excellent and I don't understand how this, of all the garbage cluttering up the Bad Boy line, is considered the worst. It's easily the best to me next to the original release. It's rich, potent, and very wearable. The sweet Bad Boy core is still intact. Sweet, but still very masculine. Finding this at an absurdly low price was like finding a pearl hidden in the muddy vanilla tonka stew of elixir releases. I can definitely understand cannabis/vetiver not playing well with some skin types so you should try to sample it first. If cannabis is not something you enjoy smelling, avoid this one. It's a "top" note in the pyramid but you will be smelling it for a good 8 hours. If you like a good bold green fragrance you will regret not trying this one. Honestly this is what I wished Hindu Kush had smelled like.

The herbal funk at the beginning is great. The sweet drydown after? Not so much. I'd still buy a small bottle of this, though.

I will say this was not a love at first sniff. I was a little off put by the smell of this at first. You do get used to it and enjoy it the more you use it that’s for sure. Silage is perfect for the first 3 hours. If you are looking for a different but nice scent, you can choose it.

I haven’t worn this, but I have a sample sticker (peel-back the plastic strip type thing). Don’t know how much that affects the fragrance itself. Anyway, I wanted to post my thoughts cuz this is interesting:

After smelling it I considered to myself for a moment, then arrived at this bizarre thought: “it smells almost… farty? But in a good/sexy way??”. Which might make it sound like I’m into eating ass, and I don’t judge, butt that’s not my thing. I digress.

But what IS that I’m smelling? I think it smells nice but there’s something funky. If not farty, is it perhaps sulfuric? But that didn’t seem right either. I smelled it a few times throughout the day and kept thinking to remind myself to look up the notes because I have to know what that funk is. Some kinda herbal, earthy, dank kinda funk in there, what on earth could it be.

Well now here I am. I look at the accords and as soon as I see it — “ooooooohhhhh”.. Yup, that makes sense. Cannabis. Got that slight skunkiness in there for sure. So I’m surprised to see so many reviews saying it’s not noticeable, because to my nose you can’t miss it. Maybe you won’t be able to identify what it is, but it certainly stands out.

Overall, I dig it. I’ve literally never smelled any other fragrance with that note so I commend the perfumer for making something unique.

So this one should be called "Rude Buoay"

Love this one. This is the only perfume in my collection which is not woody or either leathery. Mentioned leather notes here but i cannot detect may be there is. Cold weather scent. In summer some evenings are ok. If you look at the notes first before smelling this perfume you will get cannabis .its a beautiful perfume. I doubt bad boys smell like this. Name doesn't suits the smell for sure.

This is good. Don’t listen to the reviews or look at that subpar rating, go try it on skin for yourself. On skin it smells like a herbal, earthy scent with a little leather in the background, you can’t smell cannabis at all. Bold and daring for a designer scent but it’s still a compliment getter. So after almost a month after purchasing a bottle of this, and I’m ready to share my experience.
First of all, anyone who says this “just smells like cannabis” needs to grow up. Nobody will pick up on the hemp note unless it is pointed out, and even then they will be surprised. Now that I’ve gotten got out of the way, this fragrance is phenomenal. It’s funny how the scents rated the lowest on fragrantica usually are my favorites. Take every review on here with a grain of salt, including mine. Try it out for yourself and form your own opinion.
This draws attention. It is an intriguing, damp, pungent fragrance that will turn heads. It starts out resinous and slightly animalic in the opening, and dries down to a powdery, sweet, earthy leather. Keep sleeping on this one, I don’t want everyone to smell like me anyway.

I selected this cologne out of a tester gift set. I had 10 total testers and redeemed a card in exchange for a bottle of this. Definitely a different scent. Herbal and powerful opening. A nice dry down on my skin easily gets 8 hours on me. I can understand that this isn't a mass pleaser, but is unique from what has been released in the designer world the last couple of years

Great, unique, long lasting fall/winter cologne. The weed comments are laughable as this does not smell like weed. If anything a mild/funky resin mixed in with the other notes. My wife LOVES this and it garners a lot of compliments. None of which are followed by “you smell like weed”.

Tried this in Ulta and and really enjoyed it. After reading the mixed/hateful reviews on this, I wanted to buy it even more. Just placed the order, I’ll update after a couple of wears.

Smells like La Nuit De L’homme Eau De Parfum version. Very similar scent. It just seems like there's a little bit of cannabis smell added to it

Salvador Dali Pour home reimagined for the modern era. It's the bitter green leather they both share, almost like pine rosin (with just a tiny hint of skunk) over a black leather. Incredible transitions from top to bottom, an excellent scent.

Anyone else pick up a noticeable green and minty absinthe/wormwood note? It's the same note as in the new CK Reflections. It also smells a lot like the opening of Memoir Man, but here the note shows itself more in the base instead. The dark and smooth peppery woods also share some similarities with another favorite of mine, Joop Home absolute, just minus the overt florals.

Creating something so unique and yet so wearable and - in the air at least - generally mass pleasing is the result of masterful perfumery. It doesn't smell at all the same but it calls to mind CdG Copper in how it features a brash opening with an overdose of an ingredient...said ingredient then moves to the back of the stage (but never exits) and exalts what would otherwise just be a nice dry down to something really special instead. In Copper it was galbanum, and here the bitter green "hemp accord".

Brilliant stuff!

Edited to add: sits in a similar olfactory realm as Memoir Man, too, each featuring a distinct wormwood note, and each having a smooth dark leather note. Bad boy feels more modern and the openings do diverge quite a bit, but still they evoke the same colors, blacks, purples and dark greens. Recommended for fans of either scent to check out the other!

This is by far the best designer release since 2021. Very good performance as well.

Perfect if you want to smell like a pothead. Not good if you're going to be near decent people. This is a fragrence for a Very specific kind of person.

This will be the only "Bad Boy" fragrance to truly earn the name "bad".

I don’t really understand the hate for this one. It is a very unique fragrance. Very masculine and SUPER well-balanced. It’s actually quite versatile too. The opening is green, fresh, sweet, and slightly spicy. There is a blast of citrus balanced with an earthy green. Really really nice! Drydown is a little less impressive but still great! I would almost say that it belongs somewhere in PR one million line of fragrances due to the sweetness, but unique in that a leathery smoky scent kinda comes in as well. Overall I really love this one. For an eau de parfum, it doesn’t really perform as well as I’d expect. Still awesome and very unique!

It's unique. I sampled this at Macy's and bought it off of the opening on a test strip. It was amazing. However after getting it home and giving it an actual wearing on clothes and skin, I was not so in love. The cannabis is noticeable, I can't wear this to work and in certain social settings I'd feel uncomfortable with this on. Now the cannabis does fade eventually and this becomes more of a "normal" cologne. This one is about what you're comfortable with. It smells good but do you want that weed stigma attached to you? In my case I didn't. It's an 8/10 scent.

Just bought it. Between all the bad boys from CH - this one is the best imo. Doesn't smell like weed at all. It's earthy spicy fresh, uber-masculine, and unique. The bottle is weird, unnecessary, huge (100ml) and the atomizer is ok. Price is ok.

Very unique opening. A nod to ganja. Not enough to arouse the interest of airport drug dogs, but the similarities are there.

A nice fragrance overall. Lightning bolt bottle is still goofy.

What a fragrance!

From the first time I smelled it I thought it is interesting
So far I tried it about dozen times in different perfumeries, duty frees etc
Each time it grew on me more.
I think it's phenomenal
It's herbal, masculine has a beautiful dry down. It has very good longevity on skin and even more on clothing and this is rarity these days in a designers realm.
I have ordered biggest 150ml bottle and can't wait to start wearing it daily (it will be hard as I'm hitting 60 bottles in my collection now)

For me bad boy le parfum is an under the radar gem.
So called Cannabis note is just a great perfumery, combination of Grapefruit and Vetiver and some earthy notes

I needed a perfume for partying, I tried it in a perfumery and I loved its smell on paper, maybe my mistake was not trying it on my skin. I bought it and already when I used it I did not like its smell very much and I have not received any compliments either. It definitely has its personality, its signature cannabis smell, but it's not for everyone; I wouldn't buy it again.

This is a unique fragrance, it makes many changes from start to finish, starts out fresh and bright, the hemp is in there kind of a hay smell in the background, then picks up some spicy sweetness. The dry down is clean smelling leather with some earthiness. So this is a stronger fragrance and really smells wonderful in the air and around. If you stick your nose into for the first half hour it may torture you nose. But this can be used anytime of the year just spray less in the warmer months.
This would be ok in the office with just a few sprays, you will leave a scent trail and you will fill smaller areas, could be considered on the beastly side. If you test before you buy, don’t jam it in your nose wave it in front of you I think you will be surprised. This is a love for me, scent, performance and versatility 8+ all the way. The Bottle is a love or hate, I’m in the middle with a like, the atomizer works just fine by the way. Also this is not overly sweet, at least not on me, there is no tonka, vanilla or amber!

The opening of this fragrance hits like a speeding fist to the throat; that cannabis note is pungent, thick, and choking. It actually produces this strange, guttural feeling in my throat as soon as it hits my nose. It doesn't smell like like burning marijuana or stoner-stank or anything. It vaguely resembles deep, thick, green vegetation with the slight dankness of cannabis flower-- without knowing beforehand that it's a cannabis note, it wouldn't have come to mind, but knowing beforehand, my brain can understand the connection to a small degree.

It's a shame, because the grapefruit and leather surrounding this note actually creates a pleasant fruitiness--almost like a subtle sweet fruit punch accord. I was actually shocked to know there was no pear/plum/berry note listed because my nose catches a sweet, non-citric fruitiness.

The weirdest thing is that I've smelled quite a few fragrances that I despise for "smelling bad", but this doesn't really smell "bad". It's more that it straight-up throat-stomps me and leaves a lumpiness in my windpipe--like a Christmas stocking filled to the brim with lumps of coal.

Okay, so the opening of this smells absolutely beautiful, the grapefruit and cannabis work well, but they sort of contrast each other as well, the cannabis gives it a somewhat powdery yet smooth texture, which carry’s out to the dry down, which is where some leathery earthiness comes out, and the cannabis and grapefruit sweetness dials down at the dry down, but is still somewhat there, and call me crazy, but the earthy leather somewhat reminds me of TF ombré leather parfum.

This went from hate to love.. cause at first I thought it smelled like rubber now I have an addictive craving to it.. I did just recently become a full time pothead so maybe there’s a connection.. 🤷🏻♂️ either way really like this to that this would go from last to now #1 for me, then cobalt then the OG..

Opening is super bright (in a great way) - it's like Dolce&Gabbana Pour Homme (you know, the yellow juice) with a just little bit of KISS (yes, the Kings In Satan's Service 70's band had a cologne - that reeked of armpit smell) and grapefruit smell but in a really good way. I'm fixing to buy a bottle after I hit enter on this post. Try it - if you're a BAD BOY (like me).

The "Baddest" Boy! This is incredibly pleasant both in the air and on skin.
Love the exit, very fresh and potent; you can pick up an interesting vibe from the cannabis/hemp note present in the fragrance - completely different from the EDT Bad Boy being bore interesting and mysterious as well. You can wear this anywhere but night events in cooler weather definitely call out for this. It feels fresh for the full longevity of the cologne, without being overly sweet in the dry down. The grapefruit really grabs and lingers for more than I expected it to.
Very masculine, this is an attention grabber for sure! It does project a lot from my clothes, though it projects moderately, within the first 2h tops, ad lingers on the skin for about 5-6h until it becomes a full on skin scent.
Great buy, especially being heavily discounted already in online discounters for fragrances (I got mine from MAXAROMA).

Does it smell like weed? Sort of, but not to the extent that it's off-putting or offensive. The perfumers did a good job of building to the brief. A bitter green opening gives way to a pleasant "leather" and ambroxan finish. Performance is solid. Certainly worth a try imo if you can get it for a good price.

ANYONE WHO SMELLS WEED IN THIS HAS NEVER SMELLED REAL WEED!!!!! I smoke very regularly and actually hate the smell of weed and I love this perfume! It's very strong in the grapefruit and vetiver with the earthy-ness and very slightly sour undertones. It's almost like a candy smell and reminds me of YSL Y Parfum with a more herbal and earthy finish. To be quite honest it smells more like cardamom than cannabis. I promise you that if you took the cannabis note listing out and added cardamom, everyone would love this perfume. I love this citrusy and fresh herbal spicy scent and I hate seeing all the hate it gets. Maybe not blind buy worthy, but if you like aromatic citrusy smells with a touch of spicy, this one is right for you.

Like oh goddd, where has this fragrance been my whole life? Bad Boy Le Parfum was love at first spray! Opening with a clean burst of citrus, it doesn’t take long to dry down into a sexy, sweet-n-sour blend of leather and hash. The vibes are immaculate, yo! It’s peppery, enigmatic, masculine and youthful, with just a hint of something a little iniquitous to give it depth and help it stand out amid the crowd. The notes may be simple, but they work so perfectly together. This fragrance needs nothing else!

Will I be trying out any of the other versions of Bad Boy? Perhaps, though I can’t see how anything might be able to top this masterpiece.

Now I’m off to buy a full bottle.

Truly one of my favorite fragrances of all time. It is a beast in longevity and performance while being a very unique smell. No one is gonna smell like you and you are gonna stand out like a beast. The smell is so sexy and masculine while also being sporty, one of my female friends told me it smells like something a famous football player would wear. I really do not get the hate at all, this is one of my most complimented fragrance especially by the ladies and at least for me, does wonders on my skin. For me the cannabis note is very faint, smells more herbal. I've actually asked some people what they think the "special" note on the fragrance and none of them guessed cannabis. If I could describe the fragrance in 3 words it would be herbal spicy leather. Love it love it love it 11/10
Edit: Also forgot to add that this combined with YSL Y has been my favorite layering combo ever. The sweet aromatic YSL Y mixed with the herbal leather of BBLP is soooo freaking good.

I don’t get the hate for this fragrance. Sure it can be annoying when it’s over sprayed. But the cannabis note is surprisingly good. It’s masculine and aromatic with its sweetness. It does smell a little like sweaty armpits when u first spray it on but the dry down is very very nice. Smells a little bit fougere with coconut(even though coconut isn’t a note). Solid release from CH imo. And sure the bottle is a tryhard designer bottle but who cares???? It’s the juice that matters.

This is the first leather fragrance I laid my nose on...genuinely enjoy this...not as bad as the rating or reviews and it will grow on you...first time i sprayed it i was like "why does it smell like sweat?" but once you smell it "in context" it truly lives up to its name...very masculine

This fragrance was the first I've ever sampled, which has now become an addiction. It holds a special place in my heart.

In the opening, when I really put my nose to it, I get a toilet cleaner type of vibe from the grapefruit. Not ideal if you ask me. Though, you really have to intentionally smell your wrist to get that and it disappears in the drydown, so it's not a big deal.

Smelled this at a Macy's and wow this stuff does not smell good. The opening smells like grapes and weed to me. A little musty too. Definitely interesting and unique, but I would never buy.

It smells like grapefruit. Very beautiful citrusy opening. Drydown is a unique warm cozy smell that I can't quite describe. Nothing weedsy about it to be honest.

The herbal note is present but subtle. People who say "skunk" clearly didn't sense it at all and just read note breakdown description here and other confused nose congested reviewers and just parroted them.

I've been wearing this for almost a year now daily. Go to sleep with it sometimes. It just never gets old and no time or season it feels wrong to wear it. No other frag I ever tried could pull it off. This will probably be my forever perfume.

I was delighted to receive this beast as a secret santa present, the buyer had obviously done their homework and kindly gifted me a scent that I have had my eye on for quite some time now, ever since I got a tiny tester vial in late 2021.
The first thing that "strikes" you is the lightning bolt shaped bottle - Hercules himself would approve of this unique and beautiful bottle, luxurious and opulent with a lovely black matte finish and under stated CH logo. The bottle appears completely opaque but you can see clearly how much liquid is left if you put a torch behind it so it won't be a total mystery as to how much of this electrifying juice you have left.
It was a case of love at first scent for me when I sprayed this. The first initial burst of scent I get here is masculine and fresh and a little aquatic, almost like cool water, however, this quickly becomes much more deeper, darker and intense than your average scent. The hemp and grassy notes are prominent in the first hour or so of this fragrance and the grapefruit note is a little more sweet, smooth and sugary than the bitterness you might expect so this balances out the somewhat sharp and loud green vibe. This becomes a more leathery and peppery scent as the hours go by but it still retains it's unique and intriguing heart.
I couldn't stop smelling this when I first sprayed it on my wrist, it is an addictive scent for me.
Performance is top notch, I can smell it off myself for hours without it being overpowering or cloying.
Deep inside this scent there is something reminiscent to 212 VIP black which is the only other Carolina Herrara fragrance that I currently own.. it has the same strength and thickness, maybe just a little nod to the house itself within the DNA.
It is probably designed for a night on the town as it is an attention grabber, however I have been enjoying it in the daytime also.
For me this is safe blind buy, contrary to many other reviews. The thing is, it takes a true bad boy to pull this off, not everyone will be able to ;)

I cant remember if it was this or the original bad boy. It smells powerfully saccharine like a familiar candy/gum. I think the right person could pull it off but its too sweet for me.

I love this fragrance. It’s called bad boy for a reason. This fragrance is fierce, and the projection is great. It’s just different, and I feel confident wearing it. Ultimately, it smells like wealth.

I don't know (nor really care) what this says about me, but I do like the smell of real world weed... I also love grapefruit and leather (as a note, I love Fahrenheit and Bleu), so my hype for this was really big.
But I was dissapointed. Doesn't smell like a realistic weed strain, but rather like... for example, you know that oranges don't smell/taste like 'orange candy' or 'orange-flavored' stuff, same with a lot of other stuff. Well, that happens here; it smells like something 'weed-flavored' and not like actual weed. Furthermore, it smells 'weed-AND-grape-flavored' (yes, not grapefruit... grape!). I think that, ironically, the grapefruit gives that impression. A greenish, kinda' Polo-like leather is there, but the weed 'n' grape don't let me enjoy it. Didn't exactly give a headache, but if I kept smelling the application point, I could get nauseous.

Overall, I really tried to like it, but... yeah, nah.
Interestingly, even some older women of my family liked it (unaware of the cannabis note).

Aside from my disliking of the scent itself, it has great performance for those who do like it. It may be obvious, but I'll say it anyways: this is unsafe for blind-buying (try it first!). Finally, it's a more-on-the-cold-weather-side fragrance, and a night beast for those who can pull it off.

Edit: I've just tried Paco Rabanne's Invictus Platinum, and IMHO it kind of reminds me of this, but better, less synthetic/candy-like, and fresher.

Love the bottle, love the name, lets get into it!

I first got my nose on this in Ulta, deciding between this and Most Wanted Parfum. I went with Most Wanted but knew I would need to get my hands on this. They were a bit similar to my nose in the beginning, as I got a 'grape' vibe/note from both but that's where similarities end.

On the cannabis/hemp note...its definitely polarizing but to my nose, its not because it reeks of weed. This is more of a fresh, herbaceous note with a slight 'skank'. Try it in a store first! I do think the reactions here are a bit dramatic but this isn't a safe blind buy. By the way, this note only lasts for about an hour on my skin. It's pretty much spicy-powdery with a hint of sweetness afterwards.

This occupies a different space in my rotation and I love it for that! Its a little sweet but not too sweet. Its a bit fresh but doesn't quite push into green territory. Its a little spicy...you get my drift. The fact that it seems to be so polarizing makes me like it even more. One downside is that I got a headache sniffing the app point too close, so be careful applying. The atomizer is a nicely distributed mist and 3 sprays is plenty.

I do think this can be worn any season except super hot weather. I don't think this is office or formal safe and it leans night. Its a love for me, for now. I'll update in a month or two.

Smells like straight up weed. The cannabis drowns out everything else and wrecks the whole scent. I would only buy if getting unnecessarily drug searched by the cops was on your to-do list.

Mass appealing but very unique. Full praise to Carolina Herrera and the perfumers for making something like this with good performance. The hate this receives is totally unnecessary. If they didn't list the cannabis note I'm sure many people would be able to see the scent more objectively with more discretion. Also, brand name and negative hype snowballing has a big impact on perception. YSL Y Le Parfum is in a similar sweet & herbal mass-appealing genre, but is considered fantastic across the board. This Carolina Herrera has been absolutely shit on but it's genuinely a lovely smell and has it's own identity. Well done Carolina Herrera- we need more designers pushing in the direction of unique, strong performing, mass appealing fragrances.

This definitely is more green with the cannabis and vetiver. It doesn't have the tonka the original has so it has less powderiness & leans more herbal. It's also missing the Sage & Amber from the original which adds to the sweetness of the OG.

It smells more dense than the original even though it's more green. They both have pepper in common. I'm not catching a whole lot of Grapefruit here since its hidden in all this richness and cannabis. I find this more interesting than the EDT.

This is not as safe as the original which is sweeter and more mass appealing. The bottle is essentially the same as the OG except it's all black instead of the gold accents on the base. The box is nice but I'd get a tester if you can find it and save a little money since the atomizer is built into the bottle. This fragrance sticks around for a good amount of time, longer than the EDT.....and projects well for an hour or two. This can be a little polarizing so make sure you test before you buy. I think i prefer Cobalt over this one but it's close.

This is absolutely putrid. Quite possibly one of the worse modern day fragrances I've ever smelled. Just go hotbox in a car with some shitty ditchweed and you'll get the same effect of this fragrance without dropping $100 to do it.

It's a heavy no go for me. That cannabis note makes it unique, but in my opinion awful smell I tried to wash it off and it was still there. It's a very repugnant and pungent smell. Can't stress out how revolting this was on my skin.

When I sampled it I was ready to scrub my hand because of the cannabis note, but that didn't happen. It was very fresh and I almost thought ''Hey this could be worn in spring no problem''.

This is a HOME RUN!!! Easily in my top 5 of the year and easily underrated due to so many people thinking it smells like "weed." It's a very deep, fresh cannabis leaf in the opening but nothing like walking by someone who just fired up a joint. Smooth and mildly sweet grapefruit followed by a nice peppery finish. Absolutely love this one in cooler weather. Not blind buy safe for freshie guys but it's one to sample if you like something spicy, leathery, daring.

I do not own this fragance but I smelled it and I fell in love with it, It had a cool sensation in the end that i could not get of my nose. My friend did'nt like it, He used to smoke weed a lot and said it smells like a grape preroll and I can see why when i saw the top notes are grape and cannabis. I can say he even hates it a little just like he hates weed now. I haven't buyed it because Carolina Herrera fragances are not the best when it comes to performance, but I shall try this one and see.

It is trying too hard to be different and it smells better in the air than on skin. However, This is not something i would wear. What is this new perfumery when headed to? Almost all of the newer fragrance releases smell the same. They just give it little turns and tweaks and call it a new fragrance. Avoid! Save your money and get something better.

Ive bought this when it was released because it was SUPER different from the EDT. Not that I hated the EDT but I prefered Halloween Man X since I find them very similar and HMX is cheaper. Being 100% honest, I hate the First Layer a litle ... I dont smell like the Weed from a joint or something but I do smell like HEMP seeds mixed with the grapefruit it kind of gives me a lil nausea.... BUT!!!!!! After like 20 to 30 minutes of applying it the MAJESTIC dry down starts and I LOVE IT! ..... So its a mixed feelings frag for me such as Life itself. You gotta endure some dissappointing hardships at first but WAIT enough patiently and even the darkest stormy clouds will start to dissappear revealing the sun again.

Nope nope and nope; uh-uh! This smells exactly identical to a car shampoo I always use. I don't want to smell like that! Even if I close my eyes to that, this still smells like cleaning stuff and not something I would wear. It's very rare for me to dislike a fragrance but unfortunately I cannot think about this specific one any different. Let's be crystal clear here, this DOES NOT smell bad at all but it is not for me.

This is one strange and interesting fragrance 😀. Not really sure why/what direction the perfumers from CH were going here? Sure, you definitely detect Cannabis or a blunt rap 😀. But it’s not that bad and totally disappears about 2 hours in, then it turns more earthy and leathery. Which isn’t a bad thing, I guess? But Le Parfum is NOTHING like the Bad Boy EDT. Which I was quite a fan of. Well..I wanted to try this? And I did so. It’s probably not my jam? But it’s not bad either. Great performance though. My advice: Sample before buying 💯. I would give this earthy unique fragrance a 6/10. ✌️

Yikes.... The way some people on this site are SOOO dramatic over a perfectly fine fragrance is absolutely ridiculous. Go home and re-evaluate your lives folks. There's absolutely nothing wrong with this stuff and it certainly smells nothing like actual Marijuana in any way shape or form. It's sweet and herbal and in my personal opinion it's quite alright. Nothing super special and not totally boring but it is definitely an easy go to during any season and any time of day. Don't listen to these poser people. Just wear what you love and enjoy it. Good god I'm hating this site more by the day. Too many whiny losers hanging around here trying to act more snobby than they have any right being.

I would say you should get a sample before you blind buy it but I don't get the hate on this fragrance. Maybe its the cannabis but it doesn't smell skunky like smoked cannabis does. In the opening you get a blast of fruity sweetness combined with the dankness from the cannabis. As it starts to dry down, the sweetness tones down, the dankness is still there but the leather starts rounding it off. I don't think its a challenging fragrance at all. If you aren't a fan of dankness, then maybe steer clear but it doesn't smell at all like you just smoked a bunch of weed. Try it out, you may love it!

The cannabis note in this is not 'burning' or really even dried cannabis. It's that deep green and somewhat resiny aroma from a fresh un-cured bud. And it's not the ONLY note, but it's easy to find if you are familiar with it. I think the Grapefruit really brings it home since d-limonene is a major scent component in Cannabis. That being said, that should not scare you away if you are unaware what FRESH cannabis smells like. If you dislike that smell, might want to test instead of blind buy.

Where the original was generic and bland, Bad Boy Le Parfum has something more to it. At its core, it's similar to the original - a fairly sweet fragrance with a generic designer vibe. But, the grapefruit in the opening is effervescent and combines with the black pepper to give a bright, punchy opening. The sweetness is still there, but this is far more aromatic. It doesn't smell like the cannabis you might recognise walking past a back alley, and you certainly won't get strange looks. It just gives the fragrance a definite green vibe, alongside the earthy vetiver. The leather is subtle, yet reinforces the masculine dry-down. With pretty good performance, it's definitely worth a try.

I love this! Controversial, critics/snobs think it's trash, people think it smells like weed or a blunt. Honestly there is a lot of reviews on here saying it smells like kush, blunts, weed, so maybe I got the wrong bottle or something lol. Besides those "buy some niche juice that costs $400" people, you are going to get a lot of compliments on this one. I honestly do not smell the cannabis. It is more citrusy smell and when it settles it's a mix of an earthy, leather mix that is not over empowering. I have been wearing this all summer and on my skin it is hopeless. I have to put at least 4-5 sprays otherwise it only lasts about 2-3 hours. Other than that get one!

WEAR WHATEVER YOU WANT!

I don't want to, and shouldn't, like this one as much as I do - but nonetheless every time I spray it on, it evokes great memories. I think of baking weed cookies in a long-ago rented house with fair-weather friends. The cannabis notes here are absolutely present, the saving grace in what would otherwise be a resinous, high-quality fragrance, making sure this Bad Boy earns that coveted spot inside what is perhaps the greatest cologne bottle in perfumery today.

This isn't a groundbreaking cannabis scent, by the way. It is very earthy and green, distinctly cannabis. A very freshly broken off nug from a live plant, nothing cured. It's a lot of fun, and surprisingly versatile. This one's not all novelty, but a bold date/party scent for young guys.

Nice green, earthy, resiny scent. Some similar cannabis notes to those in Mancera’s Hindu Kush.

Dry down is where it’s at with this scent. Slightly sweet. Faint hints of cannabis and leather.

To me this has more of a cannabis seed smell than straight up cannabis. The citrus is definitely present. The leather note is pretty subdued to my nose. The vetiver is not the overly earthy type. I can see why this is polarizing, but I personally like it. I don't think i would wear this in high heat. Better in the evenings and slightly cooler days.

Longevity is slightly above average on my skin, but projection is only noticeable for me for 1-2 hours then it sits closer to the skin but definitely get wafts throughout the day. I don't find this close to Phantom, which is way more sweet and very lavender heavy and completely devoid of the cannabis note, which to my nose, make them very different.

Bad Boy Eau De Parfum
I can completely understand people not loving this scent, it is very unique. I myself...Love, Love, Love this fragrance! Off the top the undeniable scent of cannabis is in your face. Quickly followed by a rosey grapefruit sweetness. It mellows more into the leather base as the hours go. The cannabis is always there. This will be in my main rotation until I cannot find it anymore. I would give this 84/100. Longevity is good 6hrs+. Projection is solid. Price: Not the cheapest, but if you like this type of scent, worth retail.

Negative reviews = unique scent. The fragrance is good, but people tend to like common things. That's it.

This was a scrubber for me.. I kinda sorta liked it on the strip so I tested on skin.. NOPE!.. it was a gagger got a weird green rubber smell I’m sure from the leather note.. I honestly don’t know how they went from chocolately with the original to this??.. they shoulda stuck with that but made it deeper and darker for an actual parfum of the og this just feels off.. but hey if you like it to each their own.

When your bottle is empty, you can cut it open and scrape out the resin.

A truly unique and beautiful scent. This is one of those that you just wish had beast performance but unfortunately is just average at best. Really does smell like fresh cannibus bud. Still I recommend. One of my all time best scents. Just amazing

I absolutely ADORE this fragrance. After many years whining because Joop! discontinued What About Adam? I've finally found in Bad Boy Le Parfum a very decent substitute. It's got the same unique herbal quality that I've missed so much. Performance is A+, lasts well beyond 8/9 hours, or much more if you apply it to clothes. Also a sure-fire compliment-getter!

Don't wear this around sniffer dogs and police...

Oh wow, I had an incredible reaction first time I sprayed it on a paper, I never smelled anything quite like this, very unique and interesting fragrance. It also projects and performs really well. I just keep smelling my wrist, I find it so fascinating. Hugely underrated fragrance, but I can see that a lot of people would not like this, it's a polarizing scent, but thats exactly what I love about it. Cannabis as a fragrance note, surprisingly I love it despite being strongly against any drug consumption, and hating the smell of weed. I can smell weed on the streets and in my apartment complex sometimes but the fragrance note doesn't really smell like that. This blend only has the good aspects of cannabis, I find it magical how they put this one together, the subtle grapefruit is there too and it complements the hemp accord really well in the opening. You get nice leather and vetiver which I love, makes it masculine and slightly earthy on the dry down. I don't recognise geranium here, but I never smelled it on its own so I'm not sure what it smells like. Try this one out, don't sleep on it, you might love it or hate it.

I'm wearing EDP version on one hand and EDT on the other the 2nd night in a row trying to decide which one I want.

I'm surprised that bland generic scents with zero personality or a trace of imagination behind their creation dominate Fragrantica's "Best Ever" charts yet gems like these get 3.5 stars.

I really like the EDT but I absolutely love the EDP. They sort of dry down a little similar but take completely different paths to the final scent.

The EDT starts very fresh and goes through quite a few stages which makes it hard to describe because every 10 minutes a different note becomes dominant, from fresh to sweet to spicy and back to sweet (or maybe my nose gets clogged up from sniffing it too often). This is actually a very feminine or at most unisex frag. At some point I felt some masculine spicy notes become dominant after an hour but they disappeared later too and it went back to being sweet. I find it very feminine in the end. I think the name "Bad Boy" doesn't really suit it unlike the EDP version.

EDP on the other hand manages to not be so obviously feminine and in my book balances in the unisex zone, more towards "urban masculine" if you know what I mean... It kind of sticks to its notes from the beginning. Sweet, tangy and smoooooth. Grapefruit remains dominant and yes there's aromatic cannabis note but it's blended and balanced so well that if I didn't know what I'm looking for I wouldn't probably guess, this note gradually fades away and leaves the EDP smelling sort of close to the EDT just more thick and strong. The EDP definitely has that "bad boy vibe" to it, some attitude, definitely appropriate for a classy Tinder date in a luxury hotel, haha. It's a good name for it.

@Professor Value, for me the “not for everyone” comment comes from the many reviews I have watched and read. A lot of the feedback I think is based on the opening notes, in which my opinion, can definitely be off putting. I tend to like fragrances that are not as “conventional “ as others. I think that this one falls in the category. I guess I just wanted people to know that in my opinion this fragrance is definitely different, especially from today’s more popular ones. I also wanted people to know that again, in my opinion, that it is not “rank”, and that it doesn’t smell like BO or like a “stoners” car. Hopefully this clears up the “not for everyone “ comments, at least from me and my perspective. Cheers!

I'm confused by all the "not for everyone" statements. A risk taker I am not, and this fragrance isn't extreme in any way to me; it's really a very pleasant scent. I lean vintage 80s (clean, green, mossy, herbaceous, leather). This ain't that, but I still like it, maybe because the notes nicely come together around a leather base.

Just received this. It’s definitely not for everyone, but it’s definitely for me. There is a very similar note lying within that I pick up in Phantom. It’s an earthy, almost dirty note but comes off as quite sexy. I know what weed smells like, both smoked and unsmoked and this, in my opinion, doesn’t smell like either. It comes of as green, smokey and fresh all at the same time. That being said, grab a sample somewhere if you can. Remain open about it. Step outside of your box. Again, not for the masses, but those it’s for, like myself, are going to experience something very special. You’re welcome. Lol.

Hated the opening on this at first, but this frag grew on me like no other and it's honestly one of my new favorites. Definitely not for everyone, but it's unique, edgy, and really personifies the "bad boy" image in my opinion. I can see how the hemp can be offputting but I think it fits really well.

I personally find this rank: like someone got a nice ripe sweat on at the gym, then smoked a fatty joint back at home and got so baked that he never showered until he woke up from a couch-locked nap 4 hours and 20 mins later, still in his gym clothes.

Okay, maybe not exactly like that - but definitely fits the image.

I'm seriously confused why the people of fragrantica rate this more favorably than the OG, or can call this sexy (unless you're into stoners who forget to shower after hitting the gym) - but alas, that is the subjectivity of scents.

Not blind buy worthy - try before you buy with this one.

Very enjoyable. Definitely see the comparison to a Phantom. I enjoyed the opening a lot! Plenty of beautiful details. The top note cannabis reminds me of a more fresh version of Black Afghano. I can tell you this is the best cannabis note I've smelled in a scent.

For the price point, detail, fun-ness, and performance, this is a great deal. Imo

It does have that Western Designer vibe but there's notes here that shine throughout it's life that seperate it from the pack.

I received a paper sample in a Magazine. One side with "Very Good Girl", and the other "Bad Boy Le Parfum". I was completely unmoved by Very good girl, to be honest. And as I was going to throw out the sample, I noticed the other side. And when I opened it, WOW!!!!! It took my breath away. Holy shit! This is so sexy to me. I would love to smell this fragrance on a man's neck. It's sweet, a bit citrusy... yet some how dark, and clean.

Got a sample of this yesterday from Macy's. I REALLY like this but can see why people find it divisive. The opening is quite pungent and aromatic with green fresh cannabis mixed with rind-y grapefruit, but you can still pick up the pepper, leather, and dark vetiver. Not an easy, no worries frag, but can be VERY sexy in the right situations. The best way I can describe it is the fragrance seems to evoke a 'tenseness' in me. Overall I really like it, but not a blind buy at all.

As others have already alluded to : this smells like you just smoked a joint then sprayed yourself with PR Phantom in an attempt to mask the weed.... I kinda like this though.

Imagine getting into a car that is being driven by a stoner, sat there in his shell suit, stinking of cannabis and pungent B.O… conscious he stinks, he decides to spray himself with Paco Rabanne Phantom to try and mask the smell of weed.

And there you have it, it smells like a sweaty stoner sat in a car trying to mask his stink with another shite fragrance (Phantom)

This is defo a kinky fragrance. Super masculine and it lives up to its name. The leather and vetiver dry down is just downright sexy. I don't know how some of ya'll are getting the stink but please do take a shower first before wearing this cause this one or any fragrance in general ain't gonna help that BO.

I judged this one too harshly before and having smelled it again today I can say this stuff is 🔥 The cannabis is definitely noticeable but the grapefruit compliments it in the best way, and the drydown is sooo sexy 😏 If the song “California Love” by 2Pac and the movie “Friday” both had a fragrance, it would be this stuff right here, and I mean that in the best way possible. Also conjures up rock concert memories with the smell of fans wearing fragrance and lighting up joints. It’s not as synthetic or sweet as the EdT. Awesome for an evening out but also great for just chillin’ at home 😎 It’s also one of the best bottle designs ever along with Moschino’s Toy Boy ⚡️

At first sniff, i was allured by the grapefruit top note. After researching it on fragrantica i was able to pinpoint that mysterious top note which is cannabis. I don’t think it reeks of cannabis like other people, to me it smells like a bright fresh burst of herby citrus that makes me want to spray continuously.

This fragrance is also quite dynamic because on the dry down on my skin is where i can smell the leather and vetiver, giving it more of a mysterious character. HAD to buy the bottle, because it is unlike anything in my collection, and i see this as a go to whenever i wear night shades or go out at night. Perfect for an all black outfit, or dark track suit.

I imagine people will either love or hate it, no In between, so i recommend smelling for yourself

I think that those three perfumes uses the same molecule which gives an earthy note , they claim it is cannabis here , while in phantom and terrae say that it is an earthy note , no need to buy the three , only one of them would be ok.
Edit :I have tried lately terrae essence and it is so different than this one.

Was interested in this fragrance for a little bit because i was very curious about the cannabis in it. Some people said they can't smell it at all, some say police will chase after you. When i smelled this i was shocked a little bit. Definitely has some EDT dna, but the most important thing is that it doesn't smell like weed in a bad way. Very fresh spicy, for me the cannabis note stays on my skin for hours. A highly subjective fragrance, you'll either hate it or love it.

Anybody saying it just smells like weed and generic cologne has obviously never smelled weed before. This is actually pretty darn good juice. Not the best value for the price that’s for sure but it is a bit different and quite nice. I have actually been searching high and low for the best cannabis scent and this just isn’t it because it doesn’t resemble the smell of Marijuana in the slightest whether we’re talking dry or smoked flower or even fresh plant material. It does have a green herbal tinge to it but certainly not cannabis. Sample before you buy but I get the feeling that 7/10 people will love this if they judge it for what it really is.

I've been wearing this one for a while now and I've noticed some performance issues during cold enviroments, (like 50º or below) it's hard to notice you're wearing anything, specially outdoors.
I was very skeptical about this fragrance. I didn't like much the og badboy, and I didn't had any idea what would be the scent of cannabis, but it changed my mind when I first tried it, it's very pleasant when blended with pepper and grapefruit, but the best is the drydown from the leather. Awsome fragrance to wear with a leather jacket. I recommend trying first before buying.

Accidentally bought this for myself instead of Very Good Girl so I'll give this away, but I have thoughts regardless.

This cologne is crazy- I'm new to the scent game so I can't identify a ton of notes, but it's definitely a deep, masculine and sexy scent. The sillage is good (my sister smelt it on me from eight feet away) and lasts about six hours on my skin. I live in a humid and hot climate and I have sweaty skin, so most scents fade or transform pretty fast, but this one stays consistent for the most part.

The pepper and leather notes definitely shine- it's got some spice to it without being eye-watering. Doesn't work on my skin (since I was initially going for a femme scent, oops) but even then, when I spray this on myself I find myself continuously smelling my arm or shirt- especially once the scent's dried down a bit. So if you're looking to impress women, this woman is saying Bad Boy is pretty addictive.

Quick note though: I have no idea what cannabis smells like since it's banned in my country, but there is that earthy, almost forest-y note to it that other reviewers have mentioned! I get how it might feel a bit dirty weed-y to some reviewers, but on me it's deep and earthy and I want to nuzzle my nose into it.

This is different from your generic mass pleasing scents nowadays. Very masculine and sexy! i wear this to the office but just 1 spray at the morning and after lunch 1 more spray. My officemates complimented this xD

It just reminds me of someone at a frat party smoking weed and then trying to cover up the smell by spraying something generic like Y by YSL. I don’t have any problem with weed smoke but the mixture creates something off. It’s pretty weird.

At first test I was quite shocked, because it was so different than any other frags I tried in drogery. I liked it a lot and my first thought was it's Nasomatto Black Afgano in designer category for mainstream.

I bought full bottle and after several testings I decided to sell it because even if the initial smell was interesting I'm not a big fan of cacao in term of fragrances and that was the felling I got from it. Not the chocolate cacao but more like weed/earthy cacao so if you like this type of scent it may be for you.

In the drydown it goes towards sweet, mainstream categories and it reminds more of the original EDT. This is the part I disliked, because it reminded me somehow of generic and cheap smelling stuff.

In terms of projection and longevity - moderate in my case.

Definitely try to get a decant and do full wearing before you buy.

This scent is a very nice smell, the hemp smell in it is not very overpowering because its covered up by the grapefruit, after spraying it and letting it dry down it loses the hemp smell and you can start to smell the black pepper. After a long day its nice to come home and smell the leathery smell to it. It is a very good cologne and I've been in love with it ever since I smelled it at the store and bought it. Wouldn't recommend this is a small office type setting but wear it in a larger setting where the cologne can really project, maybe a night out to a bar or a concert?

I had to get this just for the interesting cannabis note that I enjoyed smelling on a test strip. Once I got it home, I realized that I kind of hate the scent after a while. It smells good but also annoying and I'm glad when the cannabis/green opening notes fade. I don't smell grapefruit in this in an identifiable way like I do the cannabis - definitely a note that I immediately can pick out.

Overall not a love, will probably decant for some random time I want to smell this again and sell the bottle.

Smells different, not like a typical designer fragrance. It's nice but doesn't really fit me. I don't know. It has to be said it's an original composition. All I smell is weed with spices. The same category as Zadig&Volatire This is Him!

Well…this is interesting. I’m digging the cannabis and grapefruit opening, but the cannabis basically hangs around for the life of the fragrance. To me, this is better for going out to a bar or the club, I don’t think this is very office friendly or much of a daytime scent. This is what you want to wear when you are having a good time and aren’t taking things too seriously!

7/10 for me, would be higher but I just don’t find it super versatile and longevity could be better.

I want to like it which is why bought it. I smelled the test strip and I leaned back like WTF is this but I also could not stop smelling it again to figure out what was going on. Now...I have a reasonable nose for cannabis and I cannot say for sure if that is what buzzes my nose or the grapefruit or a combo of both but that top note experience is something else in the most neutral way possible. But also...cannabis would not have been my first guess and was a surprise to discover it was in the fragrance. The kicker is it ends sweet, vanilla like and light so I suppose if you want to smell like a freshly crushed weed in a leather coat, layer it after dry down!

I'm still confused about why I have it but ironically enough a lot of non-smokers receive it well when I wore it.

I just went to ULTA and to try the Bad Boy le Parfum... oh man ! it is BAD not in a good way. Frist I want to say I have nothing against people who smoke cannabis, or the smell of cannabis... but this cologne makes me gagged the second I spray onto my arm.

I know the feature scent in the opening is "Cannabis", and it does not smell luxurious sophisticated like an uptown rich Park Avenue bad boy, or a downtown cool badass dude.... it literally smells like you just smoked a lot of weed and your whole body reeks the smell of marijuana / cannabis and you can't hide the smell no matter how many cologne you spray on yourself or try to light some incense in your room try to hide the scent from your parents kinda bad!

Please DO NOT try to wear this cologne to work. Your boss will think you smoked some weed before you came into the office. It's not office friendly, do not wear to wedding, family gathering.... just not good for any occasion!

A couple of reviewers have described Bad Boy Le Parfum as ‘weed covered by cheap cologne’ and they’re actually kinda right. Not that that descriptor is necessarily a bad thing: there is a certain endearing charm in Bad Boy Le Parfum lacking in most designer releases.

Opens with dirty green and a clear grapefruit note. Most people will be taken with the cannabis hype, but ignore that and you’ll realise just how much grapefruit plays a role in Bad Boy Le Parfum’s opening. The grapefruit note fades, leaving a dirty, slightly green leather. I wouldn’t have picked the geranium in a blind test, but smelling closely it’s there, keeping Le Parfum away from being too user-unfriendly.

In the same vein as Dark Rebel but with much better longevity, or if Nasomatto was given a brief to create Black Afgano but was given a designer’s generic base and told, “You must use this.”

I can understand how guys in their mid to late teens (even their early twenties) would see the cannabis note and think, “Whoa, so rebellious! Chicks will dig this,” and buy it for that reason - or maybe because of the kitsch bottle. That said, it’s still just weed covered by cheap cologne. Would I wear it? Yes! (there's that certain endearing charm...)

No doubt it’s a sweet fragrance in the opening but holy smokes the cannabis and earthy dry down had me regretting not buying it on the spot. It’s soooooo god damn good 😩 Next paycheck will be thrown at this bad boy *bada tss*

As far as designer fragrances go, this one is absolutely amazing. The opening is sweet, then you get hit with the cannabis note, that green earthy type. Once it goes to the mid, it mellows down on the cannabis and youre left with awesomness. Its quite unique. Had to give it a few wearing to fully love it, thought at first that the cannabis is way too overpowering. This scent is truly addictive, ive been wearing it nonstop for about a week. Definately a work safe fragrance, at least for me. My girl loves it when i wear it. This thing is sexy, alluring, compliment monster, the name suits this one well. Longevity is actually average, around 6 hours, projects about 1 hour. My best 2021 purchase so far!

my favorite winter time cologne has a very musky/masculine smell at first but once it starts to mellow out it gives an almost sweet (but not too sweet) chocolate smell. out of any cologne you can buy for winter time. this in my opinion as someone who works as a cologne salesman this is by far the best winter time fragrance i have smelt. now i only have one complaint: it is terrible in warm to hot temperatures which is quite ironic as it was released right before summer. i saw a review on this page that said it smells like weed covered up by cheap cologne which is about how i can describe it during warmer weather. but overall i’d have to rate this cologne a solid 8/10 the only reason it’s not higher is because of how bad it smells in the summertime.

dark captivating different and done right, tbh i have not idea who votes on grapefruit note. Yes try to find it its there but if you didnt know you would never guess. scent chnges over time. you wont smell like everyone else.

Man this opening absolutely captivated me when I first tested it. The bright juicy grapefruit meshed with the herbal cannabis note reminded me of some great cannabis strains I've had in my past. The opening then dries down to a sweet leathery and fruity scent. The combo almost makes me think of gummy bears. It smells really good, and I've recieved compliments from this one.

I was gifted a bottle of the original Bad Boy, which I didn't really like at first. But, I've grown to appreciate it for what it is...a nice scent made for mass appeal and compliments. This parfum version is different. I get a huge blast of cannabis at the start, but it settles quickly and reads as 'herbal' instead of straight up weed. I get all the notes listed here except the grapefruit. This is green, earthy, and masculine. If the Marlboro Man got tired of his tobacco scented cologne and wanted to switch to something modern and more cannabis-like, he would wear this.

This is a standout among other contemporary men's fragrances. There is no blue, cloying sweetness here...this is kinda scruffy and sexy. I think it's a vast improvement over the original, even though there is a shadow of the original Bad Boy in the full drydown. The more I wear this, the more I enjoy it...Good stuff.

First time I sprayed this I got a very sharp green note that settled into a fresh cannabis plant note after about 10 minutes. Which is then followed by pepper and fresh spices until it dries down into a powdery leather. So what I got out of this is a fresh green leathery cologne that would be great for any occasion. The cannabis note can be smelled through and though it's not "loud" it's nice and smells very fresh from the gernanium. The leather is the last note to come in and lasts the last 2 hours. I got a total of 8 hours. I didn't smell any grapefruit or citrus notes however I didn't miss it Lol. It gets a 9/10 for me 😁

People who say this smells like blunt or a stoner are either never smoked or live in the Willy Wonka trap house. Seriously, if weed smells like this I wouldn’t be crapping my pants when I snuck back in to my house as a teenager.

Anyway, this doesn’t smell daring or challenging, but it’s pleasant regardless. Subtly sweet and green, I wouldn’t mind wearing this in a slightly dressier occasion. Projection is pretty strong, and again, you won’t smell like a stoner. Blind buy worthy if you’re after something unique but mass appealing.

This is way fresher than I expected! It's not a dense, dark evening scent. It's sweet but it has a green freshness that really balances out the sweetness. It doesn't smell similar to Eros but it is a similar to of scent in that it has the combination of sweetness and greenness. I don't get any ugly or dirty weed note, it is quite smooth and agreeable.
Overall it's a like but not a love from me. It's nice, there isn't anything wrong with the scent but I wouldn't pay the price it goes for, not even online.

This frag opens with a hefty dirty green (provided by the cannabis note) citrus. It does not to my nose smell straight up of cannabis. The smell itself to me is surprisingly pleasant as I didn't know what to expect going into this one.
Where this frag shines though is upon drying down into the mid, where the dirty green citrus meets the warm florals. The combination leads to an unexpectedly complex and frankly quite interesting smell which I can only suggest you to sample before you buy if possible.
Unfortunately the longevity of this is around the 3-4 hours mark on my skin but depending on how you look at it, that isn't actually that bad of a thing. I'd have just liked it to be at least lasted 1-2 hours longer. I don't feel like the overall performance justifies the price tag but the smell is good.

Blind bought this and it’s love at first try! I have the original bad boy which I thought was okay, didn’t blow me away but still enjoy it, bad boy le parfum however is wow! It’s not like a bag of weed type scent. It’s quite fresh and candied, but sexy and spicy too. Im female and prefer male scents to wear on myself and this one does not disappoint, it’s still very much male but particular females can definitely pull this off. I can’t stop smelling it! Can imagine this being beautiful in the colder weather too, which won’t be too hard for me to test seeing as I live in Scotland!

It's a good and creative fragrance but not for everyone. A bitter and dirty smell (from the cannabis) mixed with other green notes and some sweetness. I know, I just put bitter and sweet in the same sentence.

Also I work for the government and I've worn this many times at the office, no one gives a toast. I doesn't smell like you just smoked a blunt, is more like a green/sweet cannabis flower.

Imagine bob Marley is wearing invictus. That’s the impression I get from this. The cannabis note is thick, like you’ve walked into a room where teenagers have been hot boxing for a couple hours. This scent comes of as 70% weed and the remaining 30% is a sweet invictus kind of background smell. It’s a bit bizarre as a blend and I’m not sure why you’d want to smell like weed on purpose hahah.
